EML ON(not the usual stuff)Mini one r50

Hi...

I am having problems with my car and i need your help.. maybe the problems are related to the mods that i have done with my car.

When i mapped my car i only had the KN panel filter..

After that i removed the cat and left the o2 sensor(the second one) and my car didn't light up the EML like everyone was saying...

i have also changed my fuelpump for a Cooper S one(does 0.5 bar more that the stock one) along with the cooper S throttle body...

after done that mods(about 2months ago) i had no problems .... not a eml light.. nothing.... and i have done a lot of miles after that...

Last night i pushed hard(havent reached the redline) and the EML light turned on and i lost almost full power(couldnt pass 2000rpm).

I disconnected the batterie cables, connected again and the car was ok....

Hours later(and still pushing very hard)(believe it or not i did 235kmh in a almost downhill road) the light turned on again i lost almost full power. and now i cant pass 2000rpm even after turning the battery off etc...

Today i went to BMW and they told me that i have error codes..
The errors are fuel pump failure and throttle body failure.....

Can this be related to the fact that my ECU was tuned for the stock throttle body and stock pump and not for the modded ones?

Its my only car please help!

Thank you

I'm no MINI expert but comming from different platform where Fuel Pump modifications were as common as deleted cats, I have to say that you may need your ECU to be tuned for the fuel pump and trhottle body. I think I read somewhere that MINI has a closed loop ECU across the RPM band, so your car would not be able to adapt to upgraded parts on it's own. Sounds like it's going into a "limp home" mode after throwing those codes.

How can they say this to me?

Is my only solution to go stock again?

Can someone recomend me other guys apart from MTH?

I really like their work.. their have been always 5stars with me.. but this answer does not "fit me"!!!
