Hi all, it's the weirdest thing it started on 3/30 when I was coming home from getting some McDo, and at first I thought it was bass from the car behind me. Then when I get home, which was about 3 miles, I hear a definite gurgling sound coming from the rear of the car... it sounds like someone taking big straw and blowing air into the gas to create bubbles...

It did it again today when I started it and went to work and when I came home. But it is not a constant thing, the sound seems sporadic.... I am going to bring it into the dealer tomorrow morning ,and I hope it does it for them tomorrow so they know I'm not crazy....

I talked to the service adviser today and she said that they have never heard of this and so on....

The gas gage had 4 bars till empty and I has 1284 mi. on the MCS and it's an '08

 

That's pretty bizarre. Keep us posted on what happens.

 

I went to the dealer and ya it didn't make a sound.... The service manager took a ride with me and he said he has never heard of this but it could possibly be the vapor recovery system... but he needs to hear the sound to go further.... I'll keep everyone posted if I hear it again...
