My MINI died on me

Well I was having a normal morning and drove into work. Pulled into my parking spot, pulled the parking brake and let off the clutch. Of course I am not 100% used to my standard and every now and then I forget to put it in neutral so my car jolted and stalled. So I got out and walked inside...

After an hour and a half I came back outside and the car wasn't opening back up when pressing the unlock button. hmmm So I get closer and press the button on the door handle and it still didn't unlock... Okay next I tried the manual key which did get me inside. Immediately I noticed a rapid "clicking" noise coming from the bottom right hand fuse box. Opened that up and couldn't locate the noise and didn't see anything terribly out of the norm...
So when I tried to start the car nothing happened. Now I place the key in the key tray and still nothing. A couple of the lights came on saying it needed a key, needed service, needed fuel and the emissions light. Very strange...

Called a couple of dealerships and there wasn't too much they could tell me to check it out. There best over the phone guess was that a harness could have been knocked loose when it jolted from the stall. Ended up having to call the roadside assistance and they towed my car five hours away to Mini of South Atlanta. Hopefully I should hear something from them today.

Sucks because I wanted to try to install my air horn today...

I'd unhook the positive battery cable, face east, sing Aqualung, and rehook the cable.
When in doubt, reboot.
Call for the flatbed if that doesn't work...

Can't imagine the stall had anything to do with it. Most, if not all, of us have done it. Heard a good flying story tonight about a clicking noise as an aircraft was taxiing out for take off. Aircraft went back to the gate because of it. Nothing obvious found, but after the next push-back and both engines started, a main electric bus failed. Technology: love it and hate it.
