flickering light while accelerating

Well, after three months of listening to other complain, I've decided to join in. Today I came across an annoying issue. While accelerating hard from 2nd to 3rd gear the yellow triangle warning light flashed for a brief moment. At first I thought it was the DSC light. The ground was totally dry. The car is pulling great. I was able to make the light come on several more times doing the same thing. Anyone have a comment?

it's your DSC

it's not a bad thing, it's just doing it's job to hold traction

Yep - it's likely that the DSC/ASC system is detecting a small amount of wheel slippage that you might not have even noticed.

yup, you are spinning your wheels going from 2nd to 3rd. It's great isn't it?

MINIs can do that even on dry pavement.
