You do realize that they have removed all BMW and MINI references.

 

No I didn't, but I would still like to hear from someone that has an account

 

I have had an account for my 96 Jetta, 97 LandRover Disco, and now my 2004 LandRover Discovery. I find it usefull in helping the dealer fix the subtle annoyances or complaints that they make you feel stupid for asking about.

For example the 2004 Discovery Cruise control was surging +-3 MPH with a decent accelleration decelleration. Apart from the loss of MPH it was very disconcerting since youd approach cars unnexpectedly. The overall differential was almost 10% of my speed. I asked the dealer and they didn't find anything wrong. I hinted that it may be covered in a bulletin but they said they couldn't find anything. So I quoted the Service Advisory number and the parts were ordered and replaced under warrenty.

Now the car rides great on Cruise Control.

I still gave the dealer the chance to play their cards, but used ALLDATAdiy information to my advantage but never told them or rubbed their noses in it. Just leverage to get it fixed.

 

I wish we could get that kind of thing for our MINI's !
