It's a non-S, and I had to special order NGK iridium plugs and they didn't give me the specified gap like usual. The gap looks pretty small on the new plugs. -Jeffy.

NGK says .032 for Iridium IX plugs in the 02 Mini. PN BKR6EIX or BKR6EIX-11.
Be very, very careful checking the gap: the needle-thin center electrode is extremely brittle and will break easily.

When I put in my NGK Iridium plugs I looked at the gaps, they all matched and I couldn't find the gap specs so I installed them as is. No pinging and it has been running smooth for more than 25,000miles.

It's probably close enough. The plugs come pre-gapped at about .030 out of the box.
