Simple Window Position Adjustment

I have a stock, '04 MC and there is a 1mm to 2mm gap between the rear seal and window on the passenger side. Anyone know of a simple fix that does not require special BMW tools? I have the Bentley manual, but their method for position adjustment seems a little too involved.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

check the bottom 2 bolts on your door. they have possilby come loose and slid causing your "gap". Do you have any pictures?

Could this be related to a height adjustment as well? You could try the simple fix of holding the window toggle in the up position for several seconds to see it you can reset the position.

I'll try both of your suggestions and post the results.

Thanks.
