My Mini is 4 months old and I have'd a bad feeling hoping to turn it around to a very good feeling or Else!!! Like I said the car is 4 months old, 2nd transmission, been in the garage for a total 4 times, 3 of the 4 for the tranny problem. Now I'm dealing with pitty stuff. Hood latch cables need to be replace, plastic side skirt buttons to hold it to the body are broken.. What else?? or should I say Hmmmmmmmm...
I took a yr. to research and look at this car to hope that Mini would weed out all the bugs.

I am at my wits end too. My list of problems...

Wiring Harness bad
Visor broke
Alignment off
Bumper chipping
Spoiler chipping
Radio broken
Speaker rattle
Steering wheels clicks and creaks

That Nissan Z looks better everyday, but Im trying to hold out and hope things will get better with the MINI.

I can understand why you're bummed and why you'd be looking at other cars. I'd probably do the same. But my MINI....many of the MINIs represented here...are problem free. I truly you find something with reliability you need, cause car problems do suck.
