I had dealer replace 1st windshield when I got hit by asphalt at a track event. Had the 2nd one done at a reputable glass installer after a boulder crashed thru the windshield from a quarry truck. Only difference in glass is the logo on corner of windshield. Most glass are made by just a handful of manufacturers. Cracking is usually from body twist as these windshields are glued to body as a reinforcement.
