Can you patch a run flat?
Reset???
Just had my first warning on my 2002 MC, 25,000 miles in (Dunlops). Had a huge lag bolt through the bottom, and driving it to the tire store caused the tire to crack clean through about half way around (but it got me there!). Will be replacing all four tires because of brittleness, but currently have non-runflat loaner. Tire warning light still flashing.
Will it stop flashing when that one (and the others) are replaced with new runflats? Do I have to take it to the dealer to have the light turned off?

and again once you get good rubber on there
The old system sets to "what you tell it" and then reports too much variation - in the super short version of the story.....
looks like a perfect candidate for the dynaplug, just keep an eye on the tire for a while after you repair it to make sure there are no signs of a broken cord, bumps, bulges, uneven wear.
I got a dynaplug kit a couple months ago in preparation for getting our mini & I'm almost out of plugs already, lent it out to co-workers & fixed a friends tire with it. I have a tire machine & balancer only a few feet from my hoist, but who wants all that extra work.
If you're going to try using it on the side of the road, make sure you have some good sidecutters or needle nose pliers, a good flashlight, and a jack.
Also, repair your tire (remove that nail or screw) as soon as you can, they only get harder to remove once they're worn down.

Air Compressor recommendations?
I'm piecing together my flat tire repair kit and I have the Dynaplug and now need to find an air compressor.
I saw this one at the store, http://www.slime.com/product_111_Power_Sport_Tire_Inflator_(40001).html
and I like the size of it, 2.63" L x 6.63" W x 6.75" H
Will this work for auto tires or is this one designed for motorcycle tires?

I'd get one of the larger ones if you can spare the room, they're all slow, but that tiny one would be glacially slow. consider one with the integrated light and tuck away a pair of thin gloves.
