I can feel your pain. I purchased an '04 standard Cooper and waited 3 months to get it. I had it for a total of 11 months and it was at the dealer from week 2 of ownership with regular monthly, sometimes bi-monthly visits. I finally dumped it when I had to crawl of the passenger window at a gas station because the doors wouldn't unlock and the driver window wouldnt go down. I picked up a Mazda 3 hatchback - and yes I cried when I traded in my BRG. One Chicago winter with the Mazda and I traded it in the Spring and now I have an '05 S and I have never been so happy. Six months and no visits to service. AHHHHHH bliss.

 

So does this mean you're done with BMW and MINI, going back to an S2000, and we won't be hearing any more ranting?

I sure hope so......

 

so maybe you won't hear ranting from him, but he had a truely bad ownership experience.....

I know, we'll only have a "Happy and Nice NAM" where we only post really cheery posts about how wonderful the Mini life is...
