I have a 2003 MC with a right turn signal that blinks correctly when the head/parking lights are turned off, but turns on with the head lights and parking lights and will not operate correctly it just stays on no blinking. Only the side and rear markers blink.

Thoughts?

When it stays on what color is it? If yellow it is the flasher, if white it is the parking light. Does the blinker repete faster than normal? If yes you have a bulb problem. If no I would suspect the flasher relay unit. Good luck

 

It is yellow. On occasion it would blink rapidly then slow down now it just stays on. I will look into picking up bulbs and a relay.

It sounds like a grounding problem

 

I would think its a relay. but I could be wrong. Steve
