Fuse Trim Removal ???

Hi,
I recently had to replace a fuse in the Mini. I used the fuse puller, but as I was shoving it back into place, I dropped it between the fuse panel and trim. It's an '02 so there isn't much room to work with, can I remove the plastic trim that surrounds the fuse panel opening to retrieve the fuse puller. Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks!

I dropped a torx bit in there last year - thought it was gone forever.

The solution? TUG. Really. You can just pull up the door weatherstriping (check for rust while you're at it) then tug towards the center of the car. The piece is held in by small plastic clips. One of mine had been bent from the factor. You should be able to pull it out far enough to find the fuse, then just snap in back on.
