02 Sensors on ebay

I have a bad 02 sensor (not sure which one) and looking for a little advice. My SES light keeps going on and off and my obll reader says that it's an 02 sensor fault (0130). My car is out of warranty and I checked a parts store for the sensor and he said his cost was $144.00. I didn't even ask what my cost would be before I checked ebay. I found one on ebay for $15.97 plus shipping. The description says that it's a universal sensor for 02-06. Has anyone had any experience with this kind of replacement or is it just too good to be true. Thanks for any response.

to answer your question first, I haven't tried the ebay item so I don't know what kind of plugs come with them or if you have to reuse your existing one. I just replaced my post-cat O2 sensor with one I purchased from Atlantic British. The plug in is an exact match for the original, the wire was the correct length and it cost about $75. Non-original but it works and fit perfectly.

Replace the 02 sensor. Than clear the fault. The oxygen sensor is your problem with that fault.

the dealer wanted $285. changing the plug is not the best idea(to make the universal one work).02 sensors are very sensitive ,soldering the wires might change the resistance.Go for the cheapest one that is a direct replacement

p0130 is your primary o2 sensor, before the cat.
i would buy a factory one and replace it myself. all you need is a 22mm wrench and then have the code cleared.
