How do you change the bulbs in the side reflectors?

Hello! I looked but my search didn't turn up anything, so as the title said, I'd like to know how to replace the bulbs in the front side reflectors (the ones on the wheel arches). I don't know why, but I couldn't find a mention of them in the owners manual or the Bentley Manual. Maybe I'm just blind??

I also had a headlight out, so I took the opportunity to install SilverStar headlights. While I haven't really tried them out at night, they are much whiter than stock. They really make the driving lights appear yellow, though.

Also, has anyone had problems with getting their car in reverse? It's an intermitent problem but really dangerous. I had to make a quick turnaround on a two lane road and couldn't get the car in reverse while blocking 2 lanes of traffic (not terribly smart but the road was closed due to an accident and I was late to work). Needless to say, it's a bit unsafe and really embarrising. I've got an '03 MC with a 5sp manual.

hey now, i just changed my bulb on the drivers side front...open the hood and right at the edge where the arch meets up with the fender is a single phillips head screw...now this is what I did, I'm not 100% sure this is the proper procedure but it worked for me...try at your own risk...basically remove the single screw and pull that part of the arch straigh out, it should move enough that you can get to the bulb socket...turn to the left to remove...I used a 194 bulb (not sure if that's what it calls for but that's what I had)....R&R (remove/replace) the bulb and put her all back together...I know my write up is pretty rough but you'll get the idea when your working on the car....I haven't had to do a rear one yet so not sure what to tell you on that one.....good luck!!!

How I get there ....

For the front the easiest is probably to just take the entire bumper cover off...it isn't that hard and if you look here for instructions on installing the Aero grill it includes taking the bumper cover off. Follow up to the part where you disconnect the leads for these lites.

For the rears, the only way I know is to go thru the wheel well to get to the back of the arch. Learned this when installing a set of rear mudflaps which requires relocating this light.... Take the wheel off and start undoing the plastic fasteners for the well liner. I took off three or 4 then had enought room to pull the liner out of the way

May not be the best .... but it will work

Thanks! Seems like a lot of work for a little light. Funny how that is...
