Front Seat Removal

I need to replace the seat belt buckle on my drivers side. It appears the seat needs to be removed to do this. What is the easist way to remove the seat?

Torx wrench. You'll have it out in 5 minutes. Just be sure to disconnect the leads attached to the seat before you try to pull it out. Look underneath and you'll see the connectors. Probably best to disconnect the battery before you start.

The sliders and the seat must come out as one unit.

Slide the seat back and remove one bolt at the front end of each rail. Slide the seat forward and remove one bolt at the back of each rail. Do not turn the power back on with the seat's wiring disconnected - the airbag light will come on and you'll have to go to the dealership to get it turned off.
