Bluetooth constantly reconnecting?

I have a bluetooth problem that I haven't been able to solve.

My MA hooked up my bluetooth phone (Sprint Katana) while I was with the finance guy. It seemed fine, but I didn't bother checking it.

Now, it doesn't seem to be making the connection correctly. The MINI is sending out connection requests about every minute. I open my phone and hit the "accept" button. Everything looks fine on my phone, but then another request comes in.

Anyone run into a similar problem? Any solutions?

Mine did that when I first paired my blackberry. I deleted it and di it again and it was fine after that.

Sounds like the pairing isn't complete. LynnEl probably gave the best advice. Try starting over and repairing it again.

Mine is at the dealer's for the same problem. It started to pair/unpair after about a month. Then, it began to turn bluetooth off, every time I started the MINI. Then, last week, it would not pair at all. It also showed no previous pairings. Finally, it would not pair any "new" phones.

Even after disconnecting the ULF module, and re-connecting, to clear the module's memory, nothing.

Probably a bad ULF module, which the dealer will be ordering today. Same exact thing happened on my X5. Bluetooth ULF module had to be replaced, as well.

Thanks for the input. I'll try deleting it and starting over. If that doesn't work, I'll take it into the dealer for a check-up.
