Side marker fixture

While cleaning my car, I noticed that both the side marker light structures move a bit. Is this the way they are supposed to be or do I need something tightened?

See my over post, but one of mine is super tight no wiggle room and the other (passenger side) will come right off the car if i look at it wrong.
