I was driving to work this morning, and I noticed the car was accelerating very slow. It turns out that my car is starting off in 6th gear when I switched over to "SD" to check. I can switch gears this way and drive normally, but when I change it back to "D" The gears won't shift up or down and stay stuck on the gear that I was on "SD".

Any ideas on what the problem is? I've barely had this for 3 months.. It's an '04 MCa.

Edit - I called MINI assistance, and they said its a tranny issue. Apparently I gotta go to a dealership and have it reprogrammed. Just letting those who have the same issue know whats up.
