My car weeps. It seems pretty normal to me. My Accord also weeps and I remember one of my dads old cars weeping.

Well, took my Clubman into day...left the tracks of its tears showing (I believe they must still be laced with cosmoline, too, because they're an off white tinged with a yellowish color...and whadya know? My SA called and has ordered the check valves for overnight delivery. According to him, the "newer" Clubmen have them. So, at least in my car's case, these tears were not considered "normal". Seeing these unattractive stains all the time did get old.

Thanks to those who posted photos of their check valves!

I can't say that I've actually seen my rear washer leak but I can see its stains. I did mention this to my SA and hope that they're going to address that one, too.

The other thing is that sometimes it is only cosmoline...and you don't want it to get stained. Tell your dealership and make sure it gets wiped off well all the time - if it's cosmoline.

I didn't recall that it was 24/7... Now they are taking the month of August off, right?

it is actually 24/7 production, all kidding aside ... and I do feel bad for them with the increased demand for MINI's and BMW probably pushing them hard and making them "weep" ... hope quality does not suffer.

Now we know why the MINI's are weeping. They weep for the overworked MINI employees!

So far my MINI has dry eyes.

However, my guitar gently weeps.

Queaera, it's probably OK that your guitar gently weeps.

So whadya know - they replaced the washer hose and installed one with a new check valve. I haven't tried it yet, but am hopeful that all will be well.

Honestly, I don't know about the rear one..hopefully that's OK...if not, well - next time.
