To dealer or not to dealer

Here's the question (as Sheakspeare whirls in his grave at 7500 rpm). I emailed Mini of South Atlanta Wednesday asking about getting a service after we arrive at our new home in Alabama and there has been NO contact back - Do I call them instead or just take this as an example of their service and move on down the line (the other mini dealership in ATL at 20 miles more through town or the Jacksonville, fl dealersip at 100 miles further)?

I need - warranty work on the driver's door lock that doesn't self unlock anymore, a replacement plastic trim piece on the inside of the top that cracked and came loose, and a hopefully free oil change since the obc says 14,500 to the next full service after a year since last service.

Im not sure what happend at MOSA but theyre usually quite responsive. I would definately suggest giving them a call before driving the extra miles.

Dude, e-mail is HORRIBLY unreliable. I've e-mailed my MA 4 or 5 times from my yahoo account, and he has only received my e-mail once.

Pick up the phone and call the dealership to schedule an appointment. Problem solved.

Speaking of MA, who do you recommend speaking to at MOSA that won't try to shaft me with other fees in addition to paying retail?

You definately want to speak to Amanda. She is extremely knowledgeable and has been involved with MINI's for years. Everyone I know who has gone to her has raved about their experience and goes back to buy their 2nd, 3rd, etc MINI from her. If in doubt, check out the AtlantaMINI's board Good luck!
