I have an '02 model, when MINI was still painting all of the stock ground effects on it. I looked through a lot of the threads, but didn't find much posted on it. They started going to the unpainted effects because of the paint that is chipping right around where the fastners are on the front bumper piece. Anyone try to fight this issue at all, or try to repaint? I'm pretty positive that the same thing will happen if i repaint, no matter how well or just how it is done. Not a huge fan of the unpainted ground effects. Any takers??
