When my rear sunroof is in the pop up position it rattles incessantly. Not just over bumps but it almost hums! I have taken it to the dealer twice.

First time - they tightened it up and that worked for about two days.

Second time - they removed and reinstalled and that lasted about a week.

Third Time - it is coming up!

Any suggestions?

 

That's odd, I've had only one problem with the sunroof...that is that it's not an automatic open or close. I don't know why the took that off but ok.

 

The sunroof on my 2002 S rattles in cold weather when it's closed, and stops as soon as I open it a little. Any ideas about how to tighten it up?

 

Glade to see they didn't change everything when they went from the R53 to the R56 . Mine drives me nuts :impatient. But I love it anyway .

 

The dealer replaced the rear sunshade assemble. That seemed to fix most of the noise back there.
