Clutch switch going? Hard starting.

I'm not even sure if the clutch switch is the problem (I've read that this part fails, but cant' find a thread about starting issues) but more and more, when starting I have to practically grind the pedal into the firewall to get the starter to engage. Is this an adjustment issue or replacement?

If you know of a thread that addressed this, please point the way.

Thanks.

theres no adjustment for the switch like in the brake switch. do you know anybody witht a mini that may let you grab the switch to test it out. that would be the easiest solution, if not then either buying a new switch or taking it to the dealer.
