well after 2 months I am finally having a problem. My drivers window sometimes hangs when going up, and my sunroof died today. If I try and open it, it just goes up a bit then back down. I got it to start to open and slide back once, but it would start to shut again on it's own. Making a call to the dealer tomorrow.

 

I read on some thread on NAM that there is a way to reset the window's top position. This seemed to cure some window problems. There might be a similar reset for the sunroof as well. If they are in the manual, could save you a trip to the dealer.

 

Tried it, didn't work. There is some sort of sunroof reset, but alas. trip to dealer. What is even worse is the manual says there is a hole to put an allen wrnech to manually shut it. Mine has the hole, but the inside is blocked off. Thank god it quick working while it was shut, or I would have been super pissed.

 

yes my Sunroof died 2 did the same thing i am getting it fixed nxt week

 

Perhaps it is blocked because it is closed.

 

There is another panel you have to remove, but I decided not ot mess with it since it is shut and wait for my appointment at the dealer.

 

Back from the dealer. They had to order a whole new sunroof panel they call it. The whole thing is getting replaced. I have to make another appt when it comes in.
