Yes it is, but I'm wondering about the injector(s) The perf was here and there, but even when it was there, it wasn't quite up to par, but up enough to stay ahead of that Mustang GT. To me it seems that the injector is either working or not and because of that uneducated guess, I'm leaning towards the computer...BUT, there was no code for it. I guess I wait till tomorrow:impatient

The injectors/seals came in but...

..one of the techs had to go to the emergency room Not sure if it was work related or not, but the actual tech that works on the R56 was not the guy. Hopefully he recovers!

As far as my car goes, well, she said it was a 3 hour job and they couldn't tie their only tech up on my car, but the question is this, if the guy doesn't come back to work they'll have to finish my car on Monday, right

LOL

Well I'll tell you this, when I get my car back, its getting a clay, AIO and SG applied to get all the "shop" off of it! Even though the car is in their shop all this time (I made a comment about this and she said they'd keep it inside for me) I'll just feel better after its all re-detailed, vac'd and generally gone over again. Once that's done, the K&N intake is going back on I knew that had nothing to do with it but because it was suggested by a couple of you I didn't take any chances. I really hope its done this Monday though:impatient

Nah - the clay just picks up dirt that does not come off with a wash. Its good from day one.

I actually clayed, AIO, SG x2 and caranuba'd the car the first week I got it. I know they protect it on the way over here and clean it up, but for me this is the way to properly clean and protect it right out of the box. I probably will not clay it, but I will certainly wash/wax it asap. I miss my car

I got the car back today and its all good! The job took him a little longer than the three hours the job called for, but seeing that its the first one they've done that's to be expected. My paperwork is going to be mailed to me because the SA knew how badly I wanted the car back, she did a great job throught this ordeal (Tiffany Honey of Motor City MINI) The car had 2636 on the clock and all the injectors were replaced. Thank you Aimee for your encouragement, Lava for you humor about the detailing and Ryan for his help last weekend, I guess we know what was wrong with it now.

Klasse Act,
Since it sounded like it was an injector problem rather than anything else....I assume you left your CAI on your car during the servicing process? Did SA give you any grief over it? I ask cause I'm trying to debate if I want to yank my air box out and go with the K&N solution or leave it on and go with the filter ALTA has for sale. Thoughts?

Per Ryan's suggestion I took it off to be on the safe side and since it goes on/off so easy just do it

I'm glad I "rubbed off" on someone One thing though, make sure you wait 10-12 hrs between coats of SG, it needs time to set up. The caranuba does attract dust more than the acrylic products though BUT the caranuba does deepen the shine though Please, send me some pics of your ride cleaned up or let me know via the PM where I can see some updated pics of your handy work

Sorry to necromance a thread here, but did we ever learn what the b2aaa was for? My MINI just popped that code today along with a few others that have to do with me needing to replace my valve cover gasket.
