Per the Constitution and Bylaws of the St. Louis MINI Club, it is time for us to elect our official positions. (You can review this document on our website at: http://www.stlmini.com/documents/con...and_bylaws.pdf)

During the month of March, we are accepting nominations. The nomination period ends at midnight on March 31st. (Persons nominated must accept or decline by midnight of March 31st -- this is dependent on the time of nomination.) Starting April 1st, voting commences. Voting will cease at midnight April 30th. Installation of new positions is May 1st.

A few notes about nominating and voting:
- This election year, I am acting as Secretary
- All active members are eligible for officer and board member positions
- You are able to nominate yourself for a position
- Voting will be done via e-mail
- I will send out the official ballot on April 1st or 2nd
- A NAM thread will be maintained by me with the current candidates
- E-mails will be sent when the list of nominated candidates changes
- I have decided to combine the positions of Secretary and Treasurer for the upcoming year - this can change due to the new President's discretion after May 1st

Update:

Lois McSwain (formerly Lois Manley) has declined any officer nominations, but will maintain her status of an Events Coordinator on the Board.

 

Well, the nomination period is now officially over. This year the elections and voting is going to be very, very simple! We have one person nominated for each position -- so official voting will not be needed. So, on May 1st the following people will take over the roles listed below.


Officers (one year terms)-

President: Brian Woerndle

Treasurer/Secretary: Michael and Jody Smith

Board of Directors (two year terms)-

Dues and Data Membership Coordinator: Amanda Heidemann

Swag Membership Coordinator: Mick Keenoy
