I'm planning on going, but this will be my first mini event, so a few questions...
1) What exactly is a placard, and would I want one?
2) I just show up b/4 11 AM at Ruby Tuesdayand we're heading out? Do I need maps/directions to make sure I don't get lost?
3) In case of rain, has anyone driven their classic Mini in the rain? I haven't yet - been a little hesitant. At least until I get a good idea of how she handles dry...
4) Do I need to bring anything else?

Hello, please sign me up for the run. My mom will be coming too.

 

I think we're coming. How late are we likely to be out there--we had an event planned for that night.
I want to go and bring the better half, she's never seen a mini rally. We'll try to line up a babysitter for our munchkins, then we can kick back and relax more.

You should have plenty of time to get to an evening event. It's usually over by 4 or earlier unless you're a lingerer like some of us

I have a friend here (Dexter) who has a MINI Cabrio. We were telling her about the Winery Run, and she seemed interested but she isn't a member of the ST Louis MINI Club (I know: ). Is this for members only or for anyone with a MINI and the proper Motoring mentality?

 

Bring her along No need to be a member but maybe we can talk her into becoming one

She is more than welcome, it is a great event for people to see how great the Saint Louis MINI Club is..........this event is open to all!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

The Winery run is fast approching, there will be many attendence prizes from MINI of Saint Louis, John Bull Garage, Red Line Oil, Viking Products, MiniMania, OUT MOTORING, American Mini Mates and more items are still comming in, as always this event is worth attending.

Raffle Tickets will be $10.00 for one or $20.00 for three.

Okay we're in! Didn't find a babysitter, so we're bringing both of our wee ones (they're 3 and 1). Hopefully they'll behave -- if not, you are all expected to help wear out my 3 year old so his mom and I can drink some wine.

I am hoping to make this event at least partially. This has been a bad year for making events as it seems there are constant conflicts. Can some one tell me the approximate arrival time at the winery. My daughter has her first soccer game of the season at 5:00pm so I will need to leave the event early.

 

Are there any more magnets left?

FWIW....we are passing over a big sand bar boat party on the Mississippi. This Mini is making me crazy and we can not miss our first event!

 

My wife and I will be attending. This will be our first time to meet yall and we are looking forward to it. Sound like alot of fun.
