Two Cruise Ideas
We have been thinking of two cruise routes/destinations. Of course if they have already been done than forget I posted it. 
The first destinaton(s)/route...I thought about Labadie, the town has one GREAT little sandwich shop and two full service restaurants (brand new restaurant just opened this week) all on the same block. Then after eating we could run up to Washington then over the Missouri River to 94 and motor to Montelle Winery. Then take 94 back to US40/I-64 and home.
The second idea we had....we take the ferries over the Mississippi and Illinois Rivers to 100 then into Grafton, Il (between the Miss and IL Rivers is beautiful!). They have a nice little winery and fun resturant/bar called the Loading Dock. It is like Fast Eddie's but all outside at a old ship building house right on the Illinois River. Live music and boats and the ferry back home to 94 is just a couple blocks away.
What does everyone think about this? We think it would be great to see ferrys full of Minis crossing the river.

You have 2 very good ideas, Rick The Club has done both in the 3 years + of our existence but I say go for it. As Events "Coordinator", I'll be happy to get the word out to Club members about a trip you may want to host. One of our board members also is quite expertise in planning the driving routes. He could help you get started with that. So if you would like to host an event, Rick, let me know

Are these cruises done in the summer or usually in the spring/fall with cooler temps? I know the Loading Dock in Grafton is only a seasonal facility.
We would have no problem helping out to get the ball rolling for a future event.
