Helmet

Hi All, I signed up for a track day (June 5th) and a Snell SA95 or newer helmet is required. Does anyone out (in the STL area) there have one they would let me borrow for a day? Need a large or XL. Thanks in advance. Dan

My suggestion is buy a Snell2005 for yourself.

Saves looking for a loaner, comes in handy for any AutoX and track days, and "it's Yours!" (no how-many-heads-has-this-helmet-been-on, or Geez, it looks like its been dropped question).

You should be able to find a decent basic SA for under 200.00 or so in your area. And don't mention "pricey", as if you can afford a track day, you can afford a decent HJC or Bell for the only noggin' you got!

Soloperformance.com has HJC helmets for around $60. It's well worht the $ to have your own helmet for track days, much more comfortable than a loaner.

The ~$60 HJC helmets are M rated. SA rated helmets ar a bit more expensive from the same vendor.
