St. Louis European Auto Show
I will swing by and I should have the newest member car, since it arrives Tuesday or Wednesday. I don't think I can register as I may not be able to stay long enough to exhibit. I want to see you guys though.
The spring clean today was fun. I plan to really Wednesday while my engine is cleaner than Adam's for the last time. :P

We will register as soon as we are positive that we are "in-fact" mini- owners..we are supposed to take delivery of our little Pep'r on Tuesday. A European car show...what a fabulous way to spend our first weekend with our Mini!! Sounds like a great time!!!
Nope, just show up for setup. They will put all of us together for the show...

We'll meet at the Show at 10am for set up if you are registered for the show. Otherwise just come when you can, we will have a tent set up for the Club. Sometimes after the show, many of us will grab a bite to eat somewhere or even take a little motor

Hello, Well today I was able to put some faces together with their Mini's and it was a pleasure meeting most of you. I had a great time and learned a few things about my Mini that I didn't know about before todays event. I will be posting some pictures on my blog from todays event. Hope to see some of you again soon.

I want to thank all of you that registered your cars, shined them up, and came out today. Every single MINI/Mini looked absolutely fantastic! Wow, what a great turnout! I hope you had as great of a time as I did. Many members not showing their cars also came out to check-out all the amazing cars and show their support.
I would also like to thank Brad Bloomquist, one of our own, who is an organizer of this event. Please, take the time to drop Brad a line and let him know that this year was wonderful and thank him for all his hard work making this the best car show in St. Louis every year. Brad is also very responsible for giving many of us tips and products that let our cars look the way they did today. Kudos, Brad!
I can't wait for next year! Great job everybody!

Thank's Adam. I'm proud to be part of the show. We will start working on next years pretty soon. Phew!
It was great meeting new faces and seeing old friends. We have a pretty cool bunch of folks in our club!
See some of you at the next event!

Today was great! And the weather was much better than last year.
Do you know what I thought was the coolest thing about the Minis? That unlike all of the other "Best of Marque" winners, our Mini winner invited every kid that took an interest in his car to sit in it! Didn't see that with the 1936 Euro-whatevers. My five-year-old thought that was soooo awesome, so thanks again!
I also had several people comment that out of all the cars on the lot, the Minis looked the most fun. And this is from people who have never driven them.... little do they know!
I am continually impressed to see what people do with their cars over time, even with their models! I am going to have to find some microscopically tiny boot stripes for my 1:87 Mini just to keep up. And a microscopic sunroof. I give up on the microscopic antenna ball, though.
They did show a little clip of the car show on Channel 4, but of course they missed the Minis. Maybe they were just too small
Here's to old friends, new friends (er, members of the cult?) and to setting a goal for 30 next year!

Wow what a great first event!
It was great meeting all the members for the first and certainly not the last time.
Everyone made us feel welcome like we have been members for years.
BradB thanks for all your hard work and taking your time to show us what was under the bonnet and talk wax.
Most of all.....I want to thank everyone who helped us spend our money. You know who you are.
Looking foward to next year and all the upcoming Mini events.

Great event. We left our Mini at home, but enjoyed seeing all the Mini's in the show. This is quite a great club with tremendous support. Next year we'll have to polish the Mini and enter it.

Minis Forevah...
The St. Louis European Auto show/benefit for the children's orthopaedic hospital was totally mind-blowing. Very, very cool cars, and the number of minis and MINIs was very impressive. I was awed by the interest of the kids in the minis, so I know the old marque will last for many moons to come. Thanks to all you guys for allowing a newbie to take home the plaque!!!! Beer my treat at the next event for those who can find me
! Seriously, Mike and John especially, you guys are great...reminds me of the good old days racing Dauphines in gymkhanas in Dallas! Chris.
