STL MINI OT-Sad day for baseball fans
While it's sad to see Busch stadium go, I have to admit that the newer purpose-built ballparks are so much nicer than the generic 70's era multi-purpose facilities.
I checked out the photos of the new stadium and I think the city will really embrace it. However, nothing will ever beat the "friendly confines" of Wrigley.

But why did you have to mention Wrigley
Ouch, the dreaded Cubbies

I do feel for you - when a building becomes so much more than just a physical structure it is hard to see it go. When I lived in St. Louis, I had the opportunity to go to several games, but I didn't have quite the attachment as if I grew up with the stadium.
Now, you can't feel too bad about me bringing up the Cubs - it seems for my lifetime (40+ years) St. Louis has always gotten the better end of that battle. So we may not have a World Series, but I have the Ivy covered walls to remind me of my youth.
