How many of you got caught in the hail today? Lucky for me, I was hit with marble sized-not the golf ball size like some areas got. Unfortunately, the areas that got hit the hardest are around MINI-LAND. Hope nobody got too much damage

Bowser is still dimpless, although we got some silver dollar size hail for 1-2 minutes in the Tower Grove area.

Still dentless! I work downtown and we just got some small stuff. Still, it was a very stressful afternoon.

Really bad news here. My work was right in the path of the biggest hail shaft, so my entire hood and roof are blasted with dimples. My drivers side mirror was cracked as well. Our building at work lost 9 skylights.

I'm not taking in to get fixed until late July since I have too many MINI things to go to with it, like the track days and the USGP. I will still be at the Auto Show with the easy-up for the day but am withdrawing my car since it looks horrible now.

By the time I sell it, it will probably have 100% new sheetmetal at this rate...

Sorry to hear about Hulk, Scott. I got caught in all the rain on 44 & I was absolutely terrorized. Today was quite the day too. I would say there's a big black cloud hanging over St. Louis right now. Aaron, just saw your post. So sorry about Flash. My son works in the same area you do & he got a lot of damage to his Land Rover.

I'm out in Warrenton and was driving home from the office when the hail hit. Just pea sized here, made me nervous but did no damage, thank God! I was driving straight into the hail and worrying about that infamous Mini windscreen!

Hey, somebody said something about a track day? I have two MCS's that I'm ready to run! Don't know if any of you STL'ers have seen them on the road, one is CR/W and one is LS/B. Both have signs on black stripes on the lower sides that advertise my TV show, St. Louis Exclusives. I see some Minis around but don't know any of the drivers.

Anyhow if there is going to be a track day I want to be there!

 

Was it the hail, or an event I missed? My husband said he spotted several Minis right near the Dent Wizard on Laclede Station, just south of Manchester. At least one had rally numbers.... having had a car totalled by hail (luckily a crappy Mustang, not a Mini), I feel your pain. Hope you are all up and running again soon!

 

That's Autohaus's Body shop you saw with all the MINIs. It appears Autohaus is keeping part or all of their stock of MINIs there, hence the decent size gathering of MINIs.
