Parts at Mini of St. Louis

Here is my problem. I broke a small square plastic piece off my MCS and I live in Rolla. I called and talked to parts to ask if they could send me a couple of them since they were less than a dollar. My stupidity is that I did not ask HOW they would send it to me. These guys chose to send me two parts that totaled less than 2 dollars UPS Ground for almost $10. Am I stupid or could they have easily placed these in a USPS priority envelope flat rate for $4.50 or they are so small they could have been in an envelope.

That is not the best part...they sent me the wrong part! I needed the small square that fits into the body and told them I had the part number. The guy says he didn't need it, everybody breaks them and he has hundreds of them. Cool! But he sent me the wrong $2 part, for $10. I'm so mad I can't see straight. Now, I have to drive up to St. Louis to ensure I get the correct part so I can drive my car. When I do, I hope this will be the last part I get from them.

I'd try emailing digital pictures of the part and placement position.

No, the part is the small square plastic piece that works with a fastener to hold the wheel arch's in place. Going to visit them Thursday in person, to make sure I get the right part.

realoem.com is a good resource for clarifying such issues.

It's totally my fault on the part because I didn't insist on giving him the part number. I had it, got it off realoem. (Great site) and wanted to keep my $ here in Missouri. That is my fault but I will not make that mistake twice. Thursday I will travel to St. Louis, get the correct, less than $1 plastic part and remove myself from the premises. After thinking it over the shipping is also my fault because I did not ask "How" it would be shipped although I did not figure it would be $10 also. Lesson learned and that also will not happen again.
