Hello everyone!

My name is Rex, and I am a Mini-aholic!

Tonight I purchased my first MCS! I have been admiring them for years and thought, "heck, it has been 6 months since I bought a car, I think I want a MINI!" I am tired of watching everyone else have all the fun!

Found a nice GENTLY used 06. One owner (female - they are gentle), and the car is in unbelievable shape!

I have been reading volumes about the MINI however I have neglected to read about the "Club." I promise not to disappoint anyone!





Anyway, wanted to say hello; I am sure you will see me buzzing about town. I work in West County and in St. Charles county. Anyone that is on the 364 - 270 route, give me a honk if you see me. Here is a pic (poor one at that).

PS. Forgive the tempo, I am truly PUMPED to join in on the fun!

 

Hmm, well how about I just tell ya. It is Blk over Silver with the racing stripes on the bonnet.

I will figure out the attachment thing. I guess you cant post the same pic the a different thread.

I figured it out! You have to modify the pic in the SLIGHTEST bit and you get by the gate guards!

 

Okay, has anyone heard the term, "Buzz Kill?"

I have a cool car (the likes of which I have been looking at for a couple years)! It seems the Mini crowd goes to bed at 8:00PM.

I hope to get a "welcome to the club" tomorrow..........

I bet that I have met some of you already! My name here, "LtRex" is because I am a lieutenant with the Frontenac Police Department and have been there for 21 years. Now you know how you may have met me! That is right, I always walk through and check out the Mini Coopers at the yearly car show at Plaza Frontenac. Always a really nice setup, and popular too I might add!

Some of you may remember the tall cop that walked through the MC set-up talking to some of you about your cars. Maybe next year I participate (schedule permitting).

It's a beautiful Saturday, and I am stuck at work. I have gone on the road a little bit only to see the MC here and there buzzing around. Good for them!

Stupid question, how do I access the stlmini site area to enter my personal contact information in the member directory? I received an email explaining it, however it seems the gremlins deleted it (middle aged).

That email had a password for me to use.............. I THINK

You would be surprised how many of us understand what having fun is all about. There is a reasonable limit, and I think we may all kinda have an idea what that is. Don't exceed that and you are likely FINE! If not, it is just a ticket!

Questions on what to do if you get a ticket...............well that is what I am here for!
