FS: 2002 Mini Cooper S Pure Silver
FS: 2002 Mini Cooper S Pure Silver
I really hate to do this but I think it is the best choice for me. I am Listing my 02 Mini Cooper S for sale. I bought it back in August 07 and have loved every minute of owning it. The car is located in Columbia, MO. Here are the details.
2002 Mini Cooper S
50,XXX miles
6speed
Pure Silver w/ Black Top
Leather Heated Seats
Cruise Control
CD Player
Multifunction Steering Wheel
Aftermarket Exhaust
Light Bar
Xenon Lights
18" wheels
I have ran nothing but AmsOil in it. I have a dealers license with them and firmly believe in their product. The car had 42,XXX miles on it when i got it and now it has 50,XXX on it. I only drive in town unless I have to go somewhere else to work. Its mostly driven on 10mile runs if even that.
The car is 100% stock besides a catback exhaust. It is an exhaust a Cooper owner gave to me with a set of wheels. It is just a system a local shop made up somewhere. It is good quality but imo just a tad bit loud. If another muffler was added to it it would be perfect imo. It also has a custom fabbed up light bar I made and am very proud of because of the compliments I have gotten here on NAM and of people wanting me to start making them and selling. It has 4 Hella 500FF on it.
The suspension still rides very well. The wheels on it are Flik Wasp 18x7.5" wheels with 215/40-18 Toyo Proxes Fz4 tires. The tires still have a ton of tread on them. The rears when clean still have the blue stripe thru the inner part of the tread! The front easily have 80% tread left.
Interior on the car is perfect. Has the leather sport seats and they are still firm but comfortable. It has heated seats and they work very nicely on those cold days! It has the automatic climate control. The heater blows hot air and you couldn't ask for any colder a/c. The sunroof works perfectly and is very nice to have open on nice days.
The exterior has no blemishes or dents except for the rear bumper. The previous owners I prevume backed into something and it cracked the paint. With the car being silver the plastic the bumper is made of it silver so you can not tell it has a few chips in it until you get right up on it. All that needs to be redone is the paint. There is no damage to the bumper itself. I blacked out the beltline with the 3m tape. Another thing to the exterior is i painted the grill satin black to give it what I think is a clear look.
The headlights on the car are getting replaced. I messed on up bad enough to just order a new set. They should be in at the end of this week or beginning of next. It also has a set of HID's in it. It is not a factory xenon car but these work very well and have about the same amount of glare as the first xenon headlights Mini made.
I am a fairly big car enthusiast and attend alot of car shows and if I were to rate the car I would give it a 9/10. When cleaned up it shines as if it were new. Everything is mechanically sound and is in great shape. The only thing wrong with this car is the back bumper paint and it isn't that bad. I drove the car to Wisconsin last fall and set the cruise at 80 and sometimes rove it up close to 90 and it averaged 31mpg. I was amazed it got that mileage because it get worth with the cruise at 70!
I know I am asking probably too much for it but I don't think you will find a car in better condition with the low miles like this one but every great once in a while. My asking price is $16,500 obo.
Here is the pics I have it now on my pc but need some updated ones with it cleaned up. It might next week before I get it clean because it is supposed to be in the 20's all week here. I also need to get pics of it when the new headlights go in it. Also, if you have any questions please pm me or post up.
