I am hit!!!

While doing a little touch up cleaning at lunch today I found my first ding. It wasn't there while I washed the car yesterday, so I must have taken enemy fire on my way to work. It is about a quarter size ding about half way up on the right quarter panel, about 2 inches from door jam.

Is this something that can be fixed by one of the Fix-A-Dent outfits? Can anyone recommend someone? Any info is appreciated.

My hood got owned by a rock the other day. I heard it, but didn't think anything of it, until I checked a few hours later. It's ENORMOUS! paint chip the size of my finger nail, and a dent at least as big. The car's barely a month old :-(. Anyone that has info on a good repair shop, i'd be interested too!

Didnt I tell you to stop hauling 800 pounds of concrete bricks

Yeah, dent doctor. Your local dealer may have an arrangement with them.

Best of luck!

Call Rick with Dent Express
310 415 5350

He's out of El Segundo and mobile and affordable. Tell him that I sent you---if anything describe me as the Black MINI with an unfixable dent--or use my name.

Not that that will get you anything more, I just refer lots of people to him.

Couple of tips--he's worked on lots of MINIs, but there are lots of places on the MINI that aren't easily accessible. Offer to help him remove body panels or whatever to help get the job done.

A club member had a ding near the gas door, and Rick wasn't able to get the ding completely out because of the hinge mechanism. I could have removed that whole assembly in 15 minutes if that's what was preventing a 100% fix.
