Assael MINI?
I bought my 2005 MCS from Assael Mini. The sales staff is very polite there. They will answer any question and my sales person actually stayed 30 minutes after closing in order to answer all the questions I had about the car. Negotiating was non existent. But after trying very very hard I managed to knock $2000 from the markup and they put the interior chrome package in for free. They seem to want to work with you until you get ridiculous with the offers.
The service staff is actually very good but they are extremely busy. The parts department is always running around to get the parts ready for the cars being serviced and they are constantly getting delivery of parts from other dealers. The staff is willing to help all the time but you can see that they are tired all the time.
Just be a nice person to the workers there and they will treat you with respect. One thing to watch out for is that calling between 8-10AM and asking for a service advisor is ridiculous. Those guys are out there prepping car after car that comes in for service and around 10AM they seem to have time to be at their desk. So call after 10AM if you need to make appointments or have questions.

I just bought my 2009 MCSa from Monrovia Mini and I had a great experience. I worked with Nick, and he was a very good guy.
I ended up getting the car for $600 under MSRP, plus floor mats and a front/back race stripe. I was able to get that deal without really haggling, so I was very pleased with the experience.
When it is time for service, I will try Monrovia, but I have a feeling that the new shop opening up in Ontario will be a lot less crowded.
Happy Motoring!
