San Diego Tuner Shop

Is there anyone with a shop in the San Diego area that has MINI expertise? Someone to install pulleys, CAI, oil catch can, swaybars and just do general service.

I am going to have some work done on my Porsche by this group that builds race cars. They said that they would work on my Mini to put in the suspension and do anything else I needed. I checked out the shop and it looks good. Most of what you want done is basic and doesnt require special tools or knowledge. If you just need a person to wrench, this might be the way to go. There really isnt any Mini specific shop out there in SD that I know of. Anyways:

We are using a shop to do the intake shootout.

They have a lot of "upper end" tuning experience, but not a lot of MINI experience.

If you would like to stop by next Saturday, there will be a decent crowd.

Johhny's Auto Clinic in Long Beach is pretty good. If I know of somewhere closer to you, I'll let you know.

Man, the people of NAM are reading my mind today! I wanted to know about glove box organizers and presto!, the thread appears. I also want to know of any mechanics in the SD area for in-between oil changes and the like and presto again!, someone asks. Hopefully we'll get a little more response (not that the current replies aren't appreciated).
