Once again, Bob Smith Mini has come through with great service for me!

I went in with a laundry list of things to do: A pillar passenger side, rattly back latch, rattle in the dash, and driver's side window huzzah at the top - letting in water upon washes, and then an oil change. Got up at 4 a.m. got to Bob Smith at 6:40 a.m. Waited about 15 minutes, went through the once over with the guy and then he intro'd me to Jaime the new service advisor (third service - third SA). She is really into MINIs! She had all the right stuff on her desk and had a great attitude about MINIs. She even liked talkin gup the Julian run we had. (she thinks she got Charlie's rear fog lights programmed before the run, she called him Charles) I explained that I'd be waiting for the car as I drive from so far away. No prob she says help yourself to donuts (no thanks) and internet connection. Oh yeah the dash rattle will take 4 hours alone....
So I thought I'd be seeing a lot of brake light on the way home. Well after spending sometime checking blogs I decided to head over to Barnes and Noble via their shuttle service. The guy told me to give them a ring when I wanted to be picked up. Super!
I had just gotten started when Jaime called and said my car was ready! Wait it's only 10:30 a.m. But great! Shuttle picked me up and I went to get the car. Everything was done and it was great. No more rattles! A pillar replaced oil changed and window fixed! Yay!
Charge for the day $97. That's for the oil change. I'm right at 40,000 miles and everything else was covered by warranty.
I've said it before, it's worth getting up at 4 a.m. to drive all across SoCal to get that kind of service. Jaime said they got it done quickly because I was there first and they knew I'd driven quite a distance.
