I'm in. I just noticed the shop is not too far either. Possible second car as well if there is space for non-MINIs.

Sorry, I don't think I'm going to be able to make it now. I have a commitment in the morning in south OC, and while I expect to be done by 11 AM, I don't think I can actually get up to DRS until mid-afternoon. If anything changes, I will let you know. My apologies.

I'd love to do this depending upon the time of a soccer game I have that day. When is the deadline for letting you know? I won't know my game time until Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. Also, as I have never done a dyno before, could somebody please give me a quick rundown on what it involves and how long it takes?

Thanks,

Ken

Just wanted to confirm that I CAN'T make it...or at least for the dyno. If I get done with my stuff in time, I may cruise up to see everyone, but I won't be pulling any dyno runs.

Miniraider,

I'm in for one. I'll play it by ear for the second depending on time because of a prior commitment to an afternoon motorcycle ride.

Cheers.

wow only one car over 200whp, and that was running race gas? I had expected to see a few 200+ cars. And the ferarri wasnt hittin to hard either, if anyone knows the guy let him know he probably has the issue with the heads/valve seals that all the 355's have. I know a few guys with these cars and they all thought they haulled *** untill they had the problem corrected, then they were surprised at what they had been missing all along. Its not a cheap fix, but then again what is cheap on a Ferarri.

Wow.. 163.8 for a stock 05 MCS???? So if they are rated at 168 bhp.. there's about a 3% driveline loss??? That's amazing or this is just one of those "MCS on steroids" from the factory?

Remember these numbers are Wheel HP that is 11-12% less than Crank HP which is the number the factories use.

Just multiply that 112.8 by 1.12 and it looks a lot better @ 126.34 whp

That's what I had thought.. Thus the reason why that stock 05 MCS is on my amazing list ... And if I use Bill's 1.12, (163.8 X 1.12)= 183.45... WOW.. 183 BHP?????????????

Does anyone know what octane was it running, or was it plain ol California super 91???

I believe he was running 91, we have seen some amazing stock runs from "05" cars. This is not the first time.

Remember that if a car doesn't detonate on 91, running 100 will not increase HP. In fact many have said that it can actually reduce HP as the high octane fuel burns slower, which is why it is less prone to detonation.
