Although primarily classic cars, as far as I know there is no age restrictions on the cars so new MINIs are very welcome to participate. We are going to get a group of primarily classics together to caravan from Orange & LA Counties. New Minis are also welcome to join in but we have some people are breaking in new engines and others with 850cc engines, so don’t expect to go too fast! It will be a leisurely drive with stops for dinner, etc. If interested in the caravan, follow this thread

Hey, this is an awesome event. A group of us went last year also, despite the friigin' heat that day! I checked out your pics. Here's a link to a few that I took last summer.

I'd go again but we're having a club run that day already.

I got to sit in that classic Mini with the mother of pearl dust flames. Nice! Dude, where's my car? I'm not in your album, darn. It was fun last year (one of only 2 new MINIs in the show). It's not too late to register to show your car. And it's not that hot at the harbor, only if you sit in the sun all day.
Have fun you guys. See you there perhaps.

Hey guys, I am setting up a canopy this year so bring your lawn chairs! Miniguy in Ventura is organizing a Mini day all day Saturday the 17th. He has some pretty cool stuff planned and I have a few things in the works myself. I am bringing my '68 this year and, unfortunately, leaving the 2004 S at home. So the plan so far - and it is changing by the moment - is to meet somewhere in or near Long Beach at 7am Saturday the 17th and caravan to Ventura. There will be a mini parts swapmeet at Miniguy in Ventura and events going on all day long, including a fun run, a scenic tour, movies, and lots of other stuff. Although primarily classic Mini centered, I hope that all Mini and MINI owners feel welcome. There has been some nasty rumors going around that new MINIs are not welcome. That is absolute BS. I spoke to the organizer of the show and he told me that they are absolutely welcome. Here is the link to Miniguy www.miniguy.com
