Help finding a sales Person San Diego or Southern Cali

Help!

First time Mini Buyer..............Started off at new dealership Mini of San Diego. They were not too interested in helping me find exactly what I wanted and not much information on what was coming. We are looking for a Hardtop S. Pepper white. Hoping to get a deal on 2010, but may need to pay more for a 2011. I want a manual transmission which seems to be difficult to impossible. Called around So Cal. Found one guy in LA at Alexander Motors (Josh). He sounded like he would move heaven and earth, found the car, great price, but couldn't get the car and sort of fell off the radar. Any experience or advice would be great. It looks like we are going with a 2011 at this late stage of the 2010............would love to give our business to someone that seems to want it.

Thanks

the sales at MINI San Diego aren't that helpful or courteous at all,
i wouldn't wanna get a car from them...really mean sales persons...
I would suggest you go somewhere else,,,heard some good stories
about Brecht MINI in Escondido. I'm sure the sales persons up in O.C or LA
would be more helpful and nice. I went thru MINI Monrovia, they're just OKAY.
Good luck finding your new R56 : ]

Thanks for your advice and thoughts.............I agree with your feedback on Mini of San Diego. I made contact with Amanda from South bay motors. Read some great things about her on this forum and she was great. Wish I bought from her, but in the end Mini of San Diego had the only standard transmission Mayfair left. Brought her home last night and love it. Had a few sour grapes about the manager of Mini of San Diego. Not the easiest guy to deal with.............

Happy to have found the right Mini!
