The signs of autumn have been peeking themselves into the weather this past week and I am loving every minute of it. After all the hot weather this summer, I am so happy feeling the nights getting a little bit cooler. It's the subtle changes that I love between seasons, plus don't you get sick of the heat? I'm a cold-weather loving kind of guy, so my window is way open at nights and it's just heaven. Yeah, I love SoCal.

Berkeley has it's own fantastic weather, way different than Los Angeles, it's very, very crisp. It rains often during the winter months but I think spring in berkeley is AMAZING!

Red, I'm a bit further north in Santa Rosa. There is nothing cooler than heading out to the coast on a cool crsip morning, through the vineyards, up the coast and back through the redwoods. Yesterday it was 55 in the morning, 91 in the afternoon.

I love NorCal in the fall.

Man I wish I lived up in Nor Cal, but I am only 4 miles from the beach so I miss out on a lot of the heat.

I love fall. My one complaint about California is not enough trees turning color. I want to do a motoring vacation across Vermont, Virginia, CT, those areas, and really take in the autumnal foliage.

This summer was waaaaaay too hot for me! I'm diggin' the cooler nights and breezier days uh huh! And the inversion layer changes, the smog layer goes higher up and everything gets really clear. I tend to only go to the beach in the winter, not the summer.

better waves between fall and spring OH YEA! haha

i'm a fan of the cool nights as well... those hot summer nights were really uncomfortable!

does anyone travel by Manhattan Beach around Christmas time? the pier is strung up w/ lights and it's cool to just walk along it at night.

Afraid my rates would be too high. Lucky for you I enjoy pro-bono work.

p.s. Would that be Court jester for the Ninth Circuit Federal Appellate level by chance? Might be able to swing that on a contingency.

oh my goodness, are you a lawyer?

I once considered becoming one, but ... nope! Couldn't do it. Talked my brother out of it too because he was mainly thinking about it for the money, and a lot of lawyers don't make very much money for their very long hours.

Autumn in Michigan is fantastic. Really the only time of year when the North Midwest has better weather than anyone in the country.
