Good tire shops in the OC?

Hey all,
I'm a soon-to-be MINI owner with a car on the boat! I'm wondering ya'll have any good recommendations for wheel/tire shops in the OC where I can get good service, fair prices, and competence with runflat tires.

Much obliged!

I've started shopping for replacements. So far I have checked with Tire Rack and Jimmy's Tire Center in San Clemente (tires only). Tire Rack beats Jimmy on the basic price, but once you add shipping, labor, etc. they are very close. I will probably check out a couple more this weekend, and would love to know where others around here have gone....

Are you planning to keep those runflats?

When I drove with runflats, I had success with Just Tires in patching my runflats, they're all around but the one on Cabot is the one I go to. They can also do alignments.

Now, I am running with non-runflats. I get my tires at Tucker Tires in Laguna Niguel. They will balance and rotate your wheels for free if you buy from them. Good prices too...however, they are busy.

For wheel straightening I have used Mission Tires on Marguerite, just south of Avery in Mission Viejo. Our MINI club is having a DIY day next month and I think we're getting a mobile rim rash repairer to come out and work some magic.

If you're going to buy runflats, I recommend looking at Costco. At least they will provide free balancing and they have good deals on runflats.

Best of luck and hope you're MINI arrives soon.

Thanks Homer.

Thanks Lex - I'm probably keeping the runflats. I can't get over driving without them if I don't have a spare in the back. I am thinking about getting some new wheels and moving the runflats over, though. I've been lurking at scmm, too. I may have to check you guys out some day soon.
