I might not make it to this one. We ran into a major problem today tuning the car and I belive its not safe to drive. I will be taking it to Danny at Mini Corsa tomorrow for him to check it out. If things work out the way I want it 2 than I will attend this.

Moala is having another run on the 10th. This isnt a high speed run like last time or like how we were planning our run to be, but there is sure going to be alot of cars.

If anyone just wants to take a run on sunday morning we can start at the Super Car Sunday show in Calabassas and just leave from there. It is a good show , usually a 200 to 300 cars of ALL types. Its write off the 101 at Valley Circle BLcd off ramp. I get there about 9 and leave about 10:30 for the canyons. This way if you make it you do and if not , see you next time. The links below will give you some idea of the types of cars that show up.

I will let you guys know friday night if I could make it. I ran into some problems with my car and hopefully they will be fixed by then.

 

I found a bubble on one of my tires, new ones wont be here til next week. Not sure if I want to tempt the tire gods with a spirited drive through the canyons. Depending on my saturday night, I might try to shoot over to the car show since it's not too far away. Sorry for flaking out last minute, but I'll def. be paying attention for the next meet...

 

Im out. I am down for any other meet you guys would plan though. My parts arent coming in till tuesday.

 

Don't even think about hitting those roads with a suspect tire. There will be pleanty of more runs to hit . I will be at the show and Peter will be bringing our R -56 on which he has something very cool that can work for both R-53 and R -56 so do stop by.

So is this meet still going down? One of my rotors or hats from wilwood came warped and I dunno if ill get a replacement by then... maybe ill just take them off and run with stock brakes...

 

It's looking like this thing is busting up. We should look at a different date, when everyone can get their cars running properly again. What a bunch of bad luck.

 

I will be at the calbassas show in any event if anyone wants to come out and run.

hey guys just saw the post is this still going on im from covina .would be cool to meet some of u mini drivers out there. but i dont know about driving out to calbassas

 

If Calbassas is to far and any of you want to take leisurely run on Sunday, you can come to the annual MOLA (Mini Owners of Los Angeles) Palos Verdes run. They are meeting at the Ports O'Call Village parking lot in San Pedro at 8:30, leaving at 9:00 AM.

There will be many classic Minis and new MINIs at the run. About two hours long ending at a local restaurant if you are hungry after the drive.

Quite a show of classics if you have never been to a MOLA gathering.
