I am not aware of any weekly meets here but STMC usually meets up on Fridays during the summer months.

I may be interested too... Im up for a possible civilian job transfer from Denver to Fort Sam Houston's Army Medical Command, and I wont know a soul in SA (my current agency has an office in Austin so I know a few folks up there.) Will keep U posted.

So I just ordered my mini and should be getting her in about a couple of months and was hoping that there was some sort of weekly mini meet here in SA.

Anyone know if there is???

The comradarie between Mini owners has been a great disappointment to me. Rarely do Mini owners return my wave. I owned a Corvette for 6 yrs and without a doubt the Vette folks have a much better bond. I have no regrets with my 09 MCS but espirit de corps whatsoever among most owners. I have met a few nice Mini folks in the SATX area.

 

There should really be a meet. I mean with all the long stretches (roads) and the hill country!
It would be so fun. =/ I don't have my mini yet and I'm already itching to go to a meet.

I see a lot of mini owners in my area but they all seem like the regular car type people. you know? They just buy it and don't really do meets and forums and group rides.
Tis no good.

I try to wave to other Minis all the time. I get a wave from most guys, not so much from the women. I think some of them like that they have a "cute" car and don't realize how awesome and fun they are. Nothing against women on here but I love it more for it's fun and zippiness than anything else.
