Saturday was the reunion party for MINI owners at MINI of N. Scotts. First rate organization with food, fun, and a caravan to Phoenix International Raceway. That's where the fun really begun!

I must agree! What fun it was to meet everyone. I loved seeing all the different MINIs in 1 spot. Got many ideas and I am just dying to start my modifications!
I must give props out to MINI North Scottsdale for a very fun day!
How cool was that caravan on the freeway????? A mile of MINIs was amazing.
I also wanted to thank Binkydognose and DominicMiniCoopers for letting my hang with them all day.
I hope we get to do this every year!

And thanks for getting me in your photo Pflash! Angus is the Yellow S in the 3rd picture on the right.

Just wished I would of taken the time to get around to meeting everyone who's online here. Need to put something on our MINIS that let's everyone know our online user names. How great was that run on the racetrack? Had my stepdaughter and her friend in the MINI and they had thrilling time.

Dominic, Love the photos. I should have made the trip with you guys out to PIR. That looked fun!
Good thing I didn't though.....I got so FRIED at the Rally. O well, it was well worth it!
So, when is the next Rally? By then I should have made some new modifications to mine.

Fried? No nearly as bad as my wife got! She was red, lobster red. Most of the time we were in our cars or in the suites. We really didn't get much more sun. I hope the peeling goes well for you. My wife told me today that Tues and Wed were her worst days for pain.

I'd love to start Auto-Xing with NASA. However the budget is very tight. I was very pleased with MINI North Scottsdale for forking out the cash for the catered lunch and for the suite !! That was awesome. I think if Michael is around next year, that they'll do it again. He had such a blast at both events (@ BMW and @ PIR).

I hope next year they could bring in Roger Penske (owner of that whole dealership). That'd be cool beans man! I'd tell him to bring along Ryan Newman too!

I feel for your wife. Wednesday was a bad day. Today is the first day I am really feeling better.

I wanted to ask you if you were interested in doing any graphics for your roof or window or anything?

I will be installing the perforarated window prints on my sunroof and rear window next week. I also made some black racing stripes that I am going to install tomorrow.
You should see the NOS sticker I stuck on the rear.......Sweet!
BUt nobody will race me anymore (SMILE)

LEt me know.

Talk to you later.

Brandon

I was thinking about putting some black racing stripes down the lower side and having the Cooper S logo placed in there. I'm going to find a picture on the web of something similar. There a similar graphic on MCO, but I think the stipe is too wide and mounted too high and the size and placement of the cooper S logo needs to be different, further back on the car. Maybe we could get together this weekend and do some brainstorming.

I might get something for the sunroof, just not sure yet what it should be. I'd sure like to beat the heat as it were and if perforated graphics help, then I'm all for it!

I am heading to Vegas this weekend. Do me a favor, draw up something you like. I think I know what your looking for, but I want to be sure. I am hoping to get my roof on by Thursday for the Vegas road trip. But I will hook you up my MINI friend.
