I was the electric blue MCS heading the other way, just west of Oracle. I want your car! Seriously, a classic mini is next on my list of things I have to have. I'm just starting the research to determine exactly what I want. I hope to see yours up close and personal sometime. I'll try to make it to the next southern arizona mini get- together. In the meanwhile, I'll keep an eye out for you. Is the Oracle/Ina area your neck of the woods?

Yeah, that'd be me!! I was on the British Vintage Voyage!!

My neck of the woods is closer to the airport.

Thank you for the kind compliment on my Mini, maybe someday we will both own one of each (classic and new)

Did you see any of the other MINis going east also? There were some of each on the run.

It would have been hard to miss all the cars on the BVV. There were 10 new MINIs and IIRC 5 classic Minis. Other cars included MGs, Healys, Land Rovers, etc. But out of all the car types there, the MINI reigned King of the heap in sheer number alone! It was a blast!

As a matter of fact, I did notice the TR4 a few cars ahead of you, and another small car in front of you (MG?), but after I saw you, I didn't notice anything else because I was in la-la land, dreaming about me behind the wheel of a classic mini.

BTW, I saw an all pepper white down by the airport a couple of weeks ago, and I'd like to get a closer look. Do you know the whereabouts of that car? Call me crazy, but I'm thinking of trading in my MCS for a PW/PW MC CVT.

I have seen that one a time or two, but always going the opposite direction, and flashing and honking while driving my Pickup might not make the driver understand a Mini owner spotted her!!
