Great to see the pics! Here's a few of ours (sorry we didn't get any of the twisty action). We sure seemed to get a lot of attention on that ride. The 3 of us winding through the narrow streets of Jerome was Italian Job part II (in slow motion)! Heard lots of great comments from the pedestrians.

Where were these picts taken at?? Looks like a great area.

EDIT//// Ok, I saw Bell rock. I live in Dallas now, but I remember when Sedona didn't have the buildings and all the resort stuff. Just a couple of mom and pop bait shops and good fishing in Oak Creek, but it's still a great drive.

And Jerome!! One of my favorite places on earth! You people who like The Gap need to go to Jerome.. Ain't that right?

Yes, that is Sedona. I didn't get many pictures in the Oak Creek Canyon due to my attention being paid to the motoring. Lots and lots of new construction over the last few years.

>>I tried to figure out who owns the MCS with the yellow lamps and modded exhaust.

That's minicoop78's MINI. His exhaust is much louder than the Magnaflow!!

It was a lot of fun driving behind them...sounded like a formation of WWII fighter planes.

That'd be minicoop78's MCS. Those bumper bars actually look fairly nice. If I hadn't seen it in person and just in a photo, I might have been sick...but in person those bumper bars look awesome.

Oh, BTW, anyone who wants to get any of the hi-Res originals (1+ Mbytes in size) I can send them to you.

I noticed that most of the pictures I took out of the windshield of my car are really blurry and overexposed. I wonder if I need to take my camera in for work. The 4M pixel resolution has done much better than that in the past.

B-man, when I get home tonight I'll shot you the hi-res photos. Mike H. took some pretty killer photos (turned out much better than mine). I'm not sure what happened to them...looks like they got removed from his site (binkydognose). The other Mike also took digipix, but I haven't seen them yet.

Even with the fun we had on the twisties and other stuff...I averaged 29MPG!!

Did any of you check your fuel mileage afterwards?

Mikes' MINI (minicoop78) is probably the most modified (and highest milage) MINI I've seen up close. It hauled *** past me more than once! The sound combination of our two was big fun for me. Tell you what, Dom and Mike are fun to drive with period. Three MINIs is a great combo on the road because you can track with each other without many intruders to the line. Well... buicks may be an established exception considering last Saturday.

Those damn Buicks! Kept cutting us off. No, seriously, they nearly caused one of us to wreck out, the other buick was just not paying much attention which caused a slight delay

I started with about 40 miles used from the tank, and my light came on before the Anthem exit. I acutually stopped to refill! But I did get a kick out of resetting the computer on a long downhill 6th gear coast and seeing an all-time (for me) high of 94 mpg briefly.

OK Mike, whats the deal with your pictures of the trip on your site. When at home I can see them, when at work I cannot see them. From work I can surf all over your site without problem...but just not those new pix. Was there a problem you just recently fixed or is there some sort of weird firewall problem at my work?
